Head Grower at Roots Family Farm Shop

Two seasons (2020 and 2021) managing all aspects of vegetable growing, from crop planning to post-harvest on approximately 2.5 acres of outdoor growing and 4 polytunnels. Implemented agroecological practices including no dig systems, minimum tillage for field scale crops and cover cropping. Achieved year round growing for the first time in the farm’s history.

Fashion Supply Chain Transparency

Together with Betterplace Lab, I researched and co-wrote a publication looking at digital approaches to supply chain transparency in the fashion industry. The work was sponsored by Zalando. I presented our findings to 200 people at a launch event organised by Zalando in August 2018.

Energy Transition Law Briefing

At my 6-week Masters’ placement at PRI in 2016, I completed this research project into the impact of pioneering French regulation for mandatory climate-change reporting for investors (French Energy Transition Law). The report was published with support from Mirova.
